A reliable source says the "mixtape" project with Jay-Z and other high-profile artists was leaked and hit the web TOO EARLY! His fans are happy (of course)..but his label not so much. There may be major legal implications for downloading these tracks... not to mention the unreliable sites that have splashed the "FREE DOWNLOAD" phrase in every corner. UGH..people, wouldn't you HATE to have swine flu..on your COMPUTER..FOREVER!? So..as MUCH as I love the lyrical genius..I'm going to patiently wait for all this mess to get cleared up..before I download it. In the meantime..HOWEVER, I do know a few people who have taken the risk and it is currently on their computer..RIGHT NOW! I LOVE THIS MAN!

I think I have THEE best Dad in the world. I am SO lucky!! This past weekend he was acknowledged for his MANY, MANY achievements in life. He's the most successful man I know..& Im glad someone else recognized that! He received the Alumni Achievement Award at the University of Rolla Miner Alumni Association!! (the college he attended) Not only was my Dad the Sr. Human Resource Professional of 2006 but my Dad is also involved in a number of different organizations.. He is a member of the National Black MBA Association, the chair of the Missouri Buisness Leadership Network, he is an advocate for people with disabilities, Vice Chairman on the board of STL's Diversity Awareness Partnership, he is an active member on the Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Leadership Group, apart of the Diversity Officers Network, & a mentor and on the advisory council for Urban Future...(whew..that was a mouthful, did I get everything Aunt Cheryl?!)..AND he is an AWESOME husband and father..

JIMMY CHOO IS COMING TO YOU!!!! (Im pointing at YOU..lol) Ok, so like any other shoe fanatic, I obsess over the high-end shoe. UNFORTUNATELY, I have yet to make the ULTIMATE purchase. U know...that ONE pair of shoes!? The ONE pair of shoes that define you as a woman?! Well...THAT ONE! Mostly, because I can't afford it! (sad face) BUT.. I think God has answered my prayers..because Jimmy Choo has collaborated with H&M and together they have come up with an affordable shoe and accessories line!!!! I've been waiting for November 14th to roll around, for some time now...and I ONLY hope that when they say that the new line of Jimmy Choo shoes will be in "selected stores" that, that means in Saint Louis. toooooo ABORTIONS!! YUP! Thats right! Allow me to introduce you to Irene Vilar. She recently came out about a horrible addiction when writing her book "Impossible Motherhood". She expands on her dark past and talks about why she has had 15 abortions in the past 16 years..(WOW..) And MOST of them were done when she was married!! It was a HORRIBLE relationship with her husband (EX now) that left her ashamed and depressed. She thinks that people will judge her because of her past and not fully understand why she has had so many abortions..(can you blame them tho?) Her addiction, although hard to comprehend, is just like any other one! Im happy she has come out with this problem, because I am sure other women have had their share of abortions..HOPEFULLY not as many as she had though!(cross your fingers).. She is a VERY VERY VERY VERY courageous woman!! And OH, miracuously her reproductive system was NOT damaged, and she is now re-married with two children :)

If you are a fan of Youtube, then you've GOT to be a fan of Lisa Scinta. If your not, then you need to wake up! I fell in love with her talent as SOON as I heard her sing John Mayer's "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room"...it was amazing. What happened to just being in LOVE?!

Ok, so I'm sure everyone has heard about Khole Kardashian and Lamar Odom's recent marriage! CONGRATS to them! Problems already though? They are sorting through pre-nuptial arrangements! According to Radar Online, if they were to get a divorce Khole is asking for their new house, a new vehicle at the end of every lease cycle (thats a lil extra..), $25,000 a month in general support, $1,000 a month in beauty care, $ 5,000 a month for shopping..AND court side tickets for their WHOLE family!! Do the math folks!!! That is alooooooottt!!!!!! C'mon, they've only been dating for a month, what does that say about their relationship? Should they be getting married? Its not like Khole is some bum off the street, or even a "normal" hard-working girl! She gets PAID! She has been fine without him this whole time, why can't that continue after they get a divorce? Better yet! What about true love?! Would it be impossible or naive to think that it could last?! Does she plan to stop working at Dash, so she wont have any more income?! I know most people are saying that what she's asking for isn't a lot to Lamar, and really it's not! But I think her demands are best described in one word "gold digger" (well TWO..lol)...court side tickets? How about not looking at your man as just a successful athlete, but as your husband!!! So..I LOVE BOOTS!!! Not just for me, but I buy my 5 yr old his Timberland boots..EVERY FALL/WINTER..faithfully. They are super universal, and match with everything! And, at his age, easier to manage. I have never been a fan of the brand for ME..until NOW! Their new line of women boots..are Ah-MAZE-inngg!!! (huge smile) They have a "Doc Martin" look, mixed with vintage. So casual..and versatile. I cant wait to get my hand on a pair of these :)))

How much is TOO much?!

I was DEVASTATED when I found out that Nas and Kelis were calling it quits..UGH! I LOVED THEM! I know, I act like I knew them personally...but I thought they we were a very, VERY cute couple, and they complimented each other well.(Im still rootin for Jay & B..and of course Will & Jada!) Even MORE devastated when I found out how much Nas was paying in child support. Now, ladies don't take this the wrong way, but Nas is payin WAAAY to much in child support..WAY TO MUCH! WTH?!?! I mean $44,000...A MONTH! Now I know they are well established people, but in an interview Nas says that after his everyday expenses that he doesn't even have all that much money! The saying IS true.."More money..more problems!" We all know that the more money we make, the more bills we have! Why should it be any different for celebrities?! Kelis obviously doesn't need that much bread in order to take care of her and their son Knight (I love that name!) Trey Songz said in an interview with HoneyMag "It would have been cheaper to keep her.." HE WAS RIGHT!!

Shoes Anyone?

OH-M-GEE! SHOOESS!!! What girl doesn't love shoes?! Well..I do! It's a guilty pleasure and as far as my budget goes, something Im trying to cut back on! (oopsie!)
In my opinion the shoes you select to bring your outfit together can either make OR break it! When putting together an outfit, I always pick out the shoes I want to wear first, THEN assemble my ensemble accordingly! (laughing..everyone does that right?) About 3 years ago I bought a pair of boots from Charlotte Russe..SUPER CUTE..also SUPER CHEAP! The heel broke, while I was walking..like 3 days after I purchased them! A good quality shoe is definitely important! Cheap? NO! (I learned my lesson the hard way) Sales however..YES! YES! AND YES! Ladies, you don't have to break your bank in order to find a GOOD shoe! Do some shopping around online, there are some great deals on there! My favorite place to shop for clothes is Forever21..HANDS DOWN! Its a one-stop-shop..MINUS shoes, they never last. I discovered a great website for online shopping. They always have the cutest clothes AND SHOES! From vintage, to sexy and chic, www.LuLus.com has it ALL!
